What makes the best boiler control boards?

The boiler control board, also called the PCB or main control board, is the appliance’s operating centre. It receives information from sensors and switches, controls the fan, pump, gas valve and ignition sequence, and monitors safe operation. When it fails, the symptoms can range from a completely dead boiler to intermittent ignition, random fault codes, a fan that will not run, or controls that behave unpredictably.

The right replacement is not necessarily the newest or most expensive board.
